HAS ANYONE OUT THERE DONE THE BONANZA CAST YET ?? LOOKING FOR IDEAS ON WHAT HEADS TO USE FOR EACH CAST MEMBER. WILL BE USING BOSS HOGG FOR BIG HOSS. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED !! IF YOU HAVE DONE THESE ALREADY,PICS OF YOU CUSTOMS WOULD REALLY HELP. THANKS

A few years ago somebody on the Museum recasted for sale an American Character Ben Cartwright head.

Most people snapped them up to make Galactica Adama customs

I would say put an add in the marketplace asking if they're still for sale.

I got ahold of a Bonanza model kit (I think by Revell) for Ben, Hoss & Little Joe, which is exactly in Mego scale. (Unfortunately, Adam was not included in that kit). The head sculpts are very detailed and accurate. I made molds from them and added a Mego neck adapter. Still have them here, but never managed to work on the paint job nor the outfits.

When I got Cmdr Adama, I really wanted to make a Ben Cartwright custom but because of BSG's martian heads I couldn't find a cowboy hat big enough to fit. LOL

Maybe a Lone Ranger hat is needed. I still wanna try this.

Take a chance with acetone and shrink that head down.
