Lazy Christmas Custom #97: Chilly Billy the Snowman

I've never considered myself a customizer of Mego figures. I tend to be more of a Small-ifier, simply taking existing figures and redressing them to make new characters. I slapped together a lazy kitbash/custom/Small yesterday and made Chilly Billy the Snowman. Marvel at his lameness!

By an amazing coincidence, I did Mego Santa a few weeks ago

There's also a Mrs. Claus, but I'm not 100% happy with her just yet. You can see some of my other Small-ified Megos here:

Cool Santa, I'd love to make one like that, where did you get the suit?

That is really cute. I can't think of a better way to use a Hog body and suit. Love him.

The head and suit came from an Exclusive Premiere Miracle on 34th Street set. I picked up a set for cheap on eBay. The body is a CTVT fat body (I think Al from the Happy Days line) The suit's a hair big on a CTVT or Mego body since it's designed for a 9" figure, but the easiest way to make it fit for me was to simply leave Al's shirt/pants one-piece on the body underneath the Santa suit. The boots are just CTVT pirate boots. His bag is a jewelry bag from Wal-Mart, and I also picked up the teeny gifts there in the craft section.

Those Smalls on your Flickr page are brilliant. I like the names and the captions as well.
