Best kind of mold to use for these guys?

I sculpted these guys over the weekend, they're less than 3 inches tall. Would a split glove mold work for them, the same as if I was making a Mego head? Any advice would be appreciated: )

I's say two piece. Might be tough for the dog. Just need to figure out the seam line location.
I have to say, those are super cool. You have some mad skillz, Tim

Without seeing how deep the undercut is for the chin, or what's going on on the back of the helmet I'd still think yes: you could get away with a split one-piece. The mold line for the dog would certainly have to be down the spine.

Two-parters would be an easier demold - unless you're trying to avoid places for mold lines all together. For a two part I'd split the alien front and back, running the mold seam up the backs of the arms. For the dog almost the same, probably something starting behind the ears and running down the back of the two front legs.

Thanks guys, that is very helpful. The split glove mold is the only kind I've done so far so I have to do a bit more research for the 2 piece. I'll keep you guys posted: ) Here's another shot from the side...

              Tim,

              Those look absolutely fantastic.

Your standard, slit up the back, one piece mold will work fine for them.

Hey Johnmiic, I sculpted them in Super Sculpey, then baked it.
I have yet to try wax.
