What's the best way to remove a female head off a Mego?

Twist and pull? It's always worked for me but maybe I'm just lucky.

Just be really careful. Sometimes the neck stem wants to come out with the head.

I hold the body in one hand gripping the neck plug with my thumb and index finger, take the head in the other hand twist and pull at a bit of an angle.

Yeah. They come right off, so long as you're holding the neck and not the body. Even the melted ones don't take a lot of effort.
