    Hair-dressing advice for Shazam!

I have an extra Shazam head & am planning a Peter Parker.

What is the best (most-durable & best finish) paint to use?

I don't want to mess with airbrushing.

I've used model & craft acrylics in the past with good results, for retouching, but I'm wondering about what's best for repainting a larger area...

    Thanks!

i would say acrylic because anythings with a oil base should transfert into the vinyl and will domage the head over time,
acrylic will be perfect but you should look for a water base sealer, it's the way to go and you should keep your figure forever like this.

I've had good luck using a flat acrylic & mixing in a little clear acrylic gloss overcoat to thin the paint & provide a durable "satin" finish. This has worked well for retouching but I was wondering about larger areas.

I see that CTC has mentioned vinyl paint in another thread, but he mentions that this will not work well over existing paint. (I had not planned on stripping the original black Shazam hair except at the front hairline.)
