Looking for ST:TNG transporter references

I'm thinking of making a fairly screen accurate tranporter pad for ST:TNG as seen in the later seasons of the show. I plan on using translucent acrylic and led lighting to make it look right.

I got a copy of the Star Trek: the Next Generation technical manual, but it was pretty worthless as far as picture and mechanical drawings go.

Does anybody have any good reference for the size and details of the transporter? If nothing else, I can watch episodes on Netflix and do screen captures, so if you know a good scene involving the transporter, that would help.

Paul, try Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise. The book is about the 1701-A but the same movie set was used for TNG transporter-just minus the protective glass booth in the films. I have a copy. Do you want some scans?
