    My Custom/Replica Cards

I recently got married and moved. I made an agreement with the wife that I would display my collection a little more tasteful than a "room full of toys", her words. Anyway, I spoke with Anthony and while he offered a reduced price and a far superior product , boxes for my entire collection was a bit more than I could afford. I sold some of my Slip Display Blisters to Chuck before I moved and he was going to make cards for his figures so I thought why not give it a shot. I tell you it was a lot of work but all very fun and rewarding. So here's a little sample of the cards and a link to my collection page to see them displayed.
Thanks for looking and hope it's ok to post this here . . .

Very nice work! I know how it is to be broke, so I TO make my own cards. And like you said, it is truly a rewarding experience when you make something great with your own two hands. For anyone who CAN afford to spend a penny or two, in this money demanding time of year, I highly reccommend Anthony Durso's boxes. Anthony's work is second to none in my book. Just out of curiosity MegoJim... What sort of paper did you use for the boxes and cards? -Will
NO SIR, I DIDN'T SEE YOU PLAYING WITH YOUR DOLLS AGAIN.

Wow, I never would've known you've never done this before if you hadn't mentioned it. Good work!

Thanks everyone . . . . Some of these were printed on card stock other on photo paper, which is almost as think as card stock. They really need the thickness of two pieces of card stock but for the most part there's no problems with the way they are, for display.
I pruchased the blisters in bulk about 3 years ago. I ddon't remember who I bought them from. I just sold most of what I had to Chuck and Roberto but kept enough to do my own collection. Thanks again.

Very Nice Jim. If you or anyone else is looking for Mego blisters I am trying to unload an overstock of thousands of professionally reproduced EXACT replicas from back in the day when I was still selling my wares. I plan on putting together a CD with PSD's of Mostly every 8" card and variation to sell with little bundles of blisters just to move them out but right now I'd be happy to trade for MM Trading cards, figure accessories etc... I'll post a separate thread about them soon.
