    Can anybody identify this head?

    Hi,
I am brand-spanking new here. I have been collecting Mego figures since their arrival in the early 70s and am now, finally, at the tender age of 45 diving into the customizing pool. Of course, that is, barring my childhood "customs" of the Spock/Namor in Robin's trunks, Batman-head Daredevil "Hand-painted" with red marker in Shazam outfit, the chest "DD" also written in marker, and my Kirk/Nick Fury w/pen-ink stubble and removable eyepatch dressed in hand-me-downs from Ponch and Starsky! But, hey, Starsky got promoted to Sorceror Supreme with his head placed on Cornelius's body (The ape hands worked for me since Dr. Strange's were irreparably damaged in that fateful car accident). A felt cape and tinfoil amulet and he was good to go. What can I say, I was 8 years old!!

    But I digress...

Anyway, I have decided I want to work on the Marvel Monsters and am currently focusing on Tomb of Dracula. Along with the Lord of Vampires I want to make his cast of adversaries. The majority of them are easy adaptations with the exception of Quincy Harker, who is old, bearded, and wheelchair bound. I have already ordered a Little Tikes wheelchair so that is covered but what I'm having trouble with is the head. I was looking for a custom Santa or Uncle Jesse when I stumbled upon this on eBay:

I asked the seller about the head but unfortunately never got a reply. So I'm turning it over to your collective expertise. If anybody can identify the head, whether its a 100 % custom or commercially made or suggest an alternative I'd be very grateful!

Oh, and while I'm on the subject does anybody have any ideas as to a Mego proportional German shepherd. I was going to try to customize a Duke the Action Dog but its a little too pricey (which sucks, because I had one when I was a kid!!) and, I think, a tad too big. I've seen some dog figures advertised here and there but am unsure of the proper proportion. 1/6 scale?!?

    Thanks!

    Jordon

Just a heads up. I clicked on that photo for a larger view, and kept getting pornographic pop-ups. Perhaps you should use another photo sharing service, like Photobucket, Flickr, or open a Museum Gallery. I'd like to help, but I won't click on that photo again until it's uploaded elsewhere.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

    Check out my customs!

That looks like a Rainfall or Wee Win head. Check here:

For Uncle Jesse, a Blackbeard head painted to have white hair works pretty well.

I blasted your picture due to the pop-up issue

Sorry about the hassle. I guess I won't be using imagevenue anytime soon! I Sent the pic as "family friendly". Didn't think to check... I'll switch to another service. ---Okay, I reposted the pic in my original post using photobucket. Again, apologies and thanks for letting me know.

It is a Rainfall Bible character head -- Noah I believe. Someone sculpted more hair to the face and head for this custom.

I have the original head from the Noah figure if you want it. Send me a private message (at the top of the page) with your mailing address, and I will send it to you.
