    Do You MSDS?

I probably should have posted this eons ago. Do you know what a MSDS is?
It stands for Material Safety Data SHeet. As customizers, we bring many chemicals into our homes for cutomizing. But are you aware of the short and long term health hazards these chemicals bring? An MSDS sheet list these hazards. When buying or Ordering items for your customizing use. Please ask the buyer to include the MSDS info for the product. It will suggest precautions to prevent health hazards that may occur during use or from storage.
OK thats my "Stick in the Mud" PSA. Thanks for listening

deal with them daily at work. I have to keep them for all the chemicals I use.

Working in a print shop, I am a little too familiar with some MSDS forms! There are a few I can recite in my sleep! Few people outside of the printing industry realize just how dangerous it can be. And that holds true for ANY chemical we bring into our homes for cleaning, work or hobbies. Knowledge is power, folks, so stay informed and stay safe!

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I used to deal with that stuff when I ran a photo lab. Chemicals, chemicals and more chemicals.

I used to do a lot of darkroom work, too. My girlfriend at the time always told me "I reeked of pickles."
