My Mego Custom adventures for the world to see

    Ladies and gents,

Some of you may have seen my custom POTA outfits but perhaps you didn't know of my blog. I am trying to take more photos of the work in progress as they happen instead of just the final outcome. If you are interested in seeing where I spend most of my time when I am not haunting the mego museum forums, please visit:

    Itching to be Knitting

Yes...I know, not so much knitting anymore. Sewing is much more instant gratification!

Very cool.I love seeing the things people go through to get the excellent end results.
It does add a little extra to the finished product in my opinion.

Really cool, Jess! It's nice to know that another chick besides me grooves on Apes! Those gliphs and boots are amazing. I don't think I'd have the patience for something like that! Is that you in the Nerftitti outfit? Is that cutie pie kid your son? Great photo!

Yes, that's me in the Nefertiti outfit. And yes, those are my kids. They are Kenyan and Filipino. Ashton is 3 and Ethan is 5. Dylan, 8, is picture-shy so that's why he's not there.

I can't believe I sculpted those boots either--I didn't know what the heck I was doing when I was sculpting them but they turned out nicely and way better than two non-matching boots.
