Possible body for female teen customs

I noticed that in the EMCE forum, there are people asking Doc for a female custom body for use on teenage characters. I'm posting pictures of Miss Hannigan from the Little Orphan Annie line. She's not quite as poseable, and her feet are sculpted for heeled shoes. But the doll body is very close to the same size as WG. The neck plug is a little different, so you might have to modify custom heads with a smaller hole. I don't know how much she's going for on eBay right now, but I've seen them for $15-$25. You can probably get them for less if they're loose or in lesser shape. You might be able to find them in doll lots too.

I had a quick glance at the bible figures at Mego Meet, anyone know if those are close as well?

I've been using Disney Princesses, but they are a bit willowy for that Mego look.

Bible figures are actually similar in the neck to the TT, but may be a larger ball joint (not sure - nothing on hand to compare them to) the knees bend but the ankles are fixed (with sculpted sandals. The arms have slightly more articulation, with elbow joints and shoulder pivot and swing. Kind of like the Kid Biz batman shoulders.

There's a line by Jakks Pacific called Juku Couture that have very jointed and same-size as Uhura(Mego Females), in the doll section of your Toys R Us or on eBay.

I had this Breyer Girl body laying around and found these cake topper heads at Joann Fabrics. Not perfect, but pretty close in scale and look to WG. In the first picture she is next to a regular mego body. In the second picture she's next to a male titan body.

I went looking at alibaba.com, to see what kind of female heads they had. Most of them are Barbie-ish, but others aren't too bad.

I'm just scared to death of inquiring about prices, and MOQ.

I've never understood that either. I'm pretty sure Dawn and Pippa and Mego's Dizzy Girl(all smaller than Megos) had the same kind of waist articulation. It seems fairly common for dolls of that time.

I think Wonder girl is actually on the Dizzy Girl body, which gives you access to a lot of cheap (and really Mod) outfits.

Oh really? I recall a thread here about that, and I thought it was decided that Dizzy Girl was smaller. Now I have to try and search for it.
