Has anyone been successful at cleanly removing a cracking Mattel emblem? I want to replace my Green Lantern's emblem. But I'd rather remove it completely than just cover it with a new one as I'd also like to move it up higher on the suit.

You know what? I can already tell that I don't like you. And I'm probably not gonna like you no matter how many pull-ups or push-ups you do. All right, anybody who wants to pick on anybody in class, aim for him, 'cause I'm not watchin'. -Kenny PowersComment

I was SO frustrated over how my Mattel Superman's emblem was cracking!
I just removed the suit, then I stretched the fabric in & around the emblem, until I got this funcky, mosaic-looking, fully 'cracked' emblem, then I proceeded to remove what was left with my fingernail! I just gently scratched away 'til it was all gone, like I was scratching off a lottery ticket (it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.)
Then I just attached my own vinyl sticker, and he never looked better, especially after I replaced that Mattel body with the new 'lighter skin' Castaway body.
The yellow emblem on the cape was beginning to lift already, so it was a simple matter of just gently peeling it off the rest of the way (I still got the silly thing, too) and put a replacement sticker on there.
Yeah, my batman emblem came off as well, practically on it's own!
