What do younger customizers want?

I was happy to see so many kids working on kit bashes and listened in on Doc Megos talk about kids building Megos with him.

Question for the kids: What sort of custom pieces do you want?

Gears of War! my 15 year old wants figures from the game

My son made a Captain America at mego meet and he loves it and takes him around everywhere. He wants to make Zombies and a Nascar racer for next year's mego meet mego racing.

KM: I've seen those Gears of War figures. Pretty complex and close to mego scale. Not Familiar with the game though. What charaters and what parts?

Stu: Harry Potter: SUre. What ages and what characters?

Trappy: Nascar. I could make solid heads but I forgot to bend Doc Megos ear on hollow casting. Are solid helmets okay? or Jeff Gordons face etc:
more Zombies? I'd like to be able ro show kids how to do a "latex build up" on a mego skull to make thier own wounds, eyes. Like in Sfx flicks and haunted houses.

Gears of War is extremely popular game, the third game which comes out later is already very highly anticipated.
With non stop action and tons of weapons I see why superheros have taken a back seat to this......

I told my nephew pretty much the same thing about Blade and sparkly vampires.

Actually Mego-wise, my oldest son has asked why I haven't done any custoMegos myself, as I have with many of my other figures. Megos are a much larger scale than I usually work in and I'm worried my sculpting mistakes can't be hidden at that larger size.

But I wouldn't mind doing a set of Mego/G.I. Joe version of the Fallout game characters. I'm sure it's been done, but I would probably like to tackle that theme.

My son is 3, and he asks to watch the Music Meister episode of Batman: B&B at least twice a day. (A very fun episode, but I have seen it so many times... those songs haunt my dreams...) So he would love a Music Meister sculpt.

Actually with the new DM child bodies ..... Tiny Titans is my daughters favorite comic (and other kids at school and daycare according to her).. if the sculpts reflected Art's drawing style ... I would have to shell out cash for that.
