Need info on getting started - Resin types?

My first custom project and need some help:
Plan on making a custom magnetic figure from a hollow translucent plastic body. I need to fill the body with something to make it solid and hold the magnets in place. Not sure what to use. I need something thin enough to pour through the leg or arm holes which are about 6mm diameter.
#1 - Must harden to hold the magnets.
#2 - thin enough to pour, or in a squeeze bottle.
#3 - I would prefer something transparent so my figure is still translucent.

Should I use a resin? If so what is best to use?
I appreciate your suggestions on this. If this goes well (or well enough) I'd like to move on to something more creative.

It would be cool if you used glow in the dark fabric paint, it dries like a rubbery like material I use it for hair on a figure head. Sounds very interesting. Ask Black Knight he might be able to help or Mego WGSH

Glow in the dark would be pretty cool.

Anyone have any suggestions for the filler material I need. Having a hard time getting started.

I've never used a clear resin before, but I would suggest checking out Smooth-On. Their website has all of their products and a lot of demos. I have used a number of their different products and find them very easy to work with.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

I don't understand what you mean. Are the magnets supposed to float in some kind of substance that is clear, encased in a clear plastic body? I think you need to have a pressure pot to squish up any bubbles in your clear resin so that they "disappear" and the resin dries clear. If you have a body that is already clear, can you use that plastic water I see fake plants in?

The body is hollow and has holes for the arms and legs to pop into. Magnets will go inside the body near the holes so the substance needs to act like an epoxy to hold them in place (most epoxies get too hot for the plastic body).

I'll give Smooth-On a try. Thanks for the info.

Anyone ever use "Easy Cast" or "Castin Craft" resin?
