    Resin Kits?

I've been wanting to get into this for a long time, but do not know much. Not long ago, I saw the Vampira kit from Artomic and feel in love.

How does one build their own kits? Super Sculpty and then cast it? Can you buy Resin? I know very little about all of this.

Keep in mind that I'm new to sculpting and i have never casted anything. But i've done some research on the subject . Check the CustoMego tutorials CustoMego and to get started with casting most folks recommended this starter kit from Smooth-On Pourable Silicone Starter Kit: Smooth-On OOMOO® & Smooth-Cast® 300. Maybe the links above will get you started in the right direction anyway. I'm sure some of the great customizers here will chime in soon enough with more valuable info.

I am new to sculpting and casting and I just started using my starter kit from smooth on, and so far it has been pretty great stuff!

There are quite a few garage kit producers out there. this is a realy good site. THE CLUBHOUSE Index page Good people a lot like the MM, I'm more of a lurker around there. I've built about 7 or so Resin kits. They take some time but are very rewarding. here's a link to a few of mine: resin model kits

            Hmmmm....

If you're gonna run a mold you can sculpt them out of anything. My originals use super sculpey, epoxy putty, metal, wood.... I prefer to use EasyFlo 60 for my casts.
