6 inch body help needed. non mego/or mego type not sure?

Howdy All, heres what im trying to do. i have these action figures from 1966 "the tigers" what i would like to do is customize them i love their heads they just have a fantastic vintage look and feel. but i want to try and find better bodies for my extra guys to make a more playable figure. but i also want to be able to use the vintage uniforms on them trouble is trying to find bodies in the 1/12 scale (6inch) that will work. thats where you come in. anyone have any suggestions for me? a good articulated action figurey type body that i could use that has a neck & head attachment like the one pictured i do not want to damage or glue the heads as i want to display them on thier original bodies i just want to be able to transfer the heads over to a more playable body (for play) ive tried wrestling figures way to muscular? any help is apperciated i'd like a nude 6 inch body that can be dressed and is not overly muscular? does it exist? any ideas on how i could put one together? i'll take any suggestions.

i know these are non mego, hope it's okay to post this here. but i really could use the great customizing brains in this forum to solve my problem.

Classic TV Toys repro's the Mego Lion Rock/Teen Titans body. That might work here.

I would buy a monkey d. luffy super articulated figure and go to town with a dremel. as far as attaching the head...I would probably fill it with air dry crayola clay (it's light and fluffy)...and before it's dry I would embed a neodymium magnet (they are super tiny and very strong)...and use Apoxie on the d. luffy figure and attach the other magnet, making sure that they are faced correctly. You may have to superglue the magnet into the crayola--it's so strong that the magnet in the Apoxie might tear out the magnet in the crayola air dry magic clay. You'd probably have to fill up the chest area with Apoxie so it's less boyish.



Anyway, those are my thoughts.

anyone ever seen something like this in flesh tone color??? it's perfect right size right head conection changable hands. everything i want just wrong color. not even sure what line this is from. the japan stuff really confuses me?
