If I dye too dark can I use RIT Dye remover to lighten it? Thanks!

What about Doc's flesh casted heads? Can they be RIT Dyed as well? And will the dye rub off into your fingers after it has been soaked into the plastic?

if you are going for red or orange, the regular Doc Mego flesh color dyes beautifully !
Just boil the stuff and keep them in the dye for a few min.
Rinse them to see if the color is right, and if it's too light , throw them in for a while longer.
I've done red hands and they look like they were molded in red.

I found that my heads will take the Ritt dye pretty fast.

I find that 2-5 minutes in boiling water will dye the PVC
          arms, legs, hands, and feet.

          Separate the body before dyeing.

Don't screw-up. You'll never get it all out of plastic. Fabric is another matter, depending on the situation.

                Hmmmm....

I think the remover would take a good bit out of the plastic, but it wouldn't be the same. I've dyed Doc bods and it works best on the softer plastic. The torsos don't take dye so good, but they're easily painted. If you don't get a good colour you can always send the parts through for another dip. I've also had some luck using a slightly darker version of the colour I want; that way I get the shade I want despite the problems dyeing plastic. (It takes a bit of experimenting, and colour theory though.)
