    Hmmmm....

    The extra rod/look up bit looks great! I've used a simialr setup for upper leg/hip joints, instead of the little hook and metal rigging. I use round wooden toothpicks though. Cheap, easy to work with, and I have a bit for my pin vice that's the exact proper size.

        I tend to be heavy handed.
        I'm rough on my toys.
        Even ROUGHER making them!

        Leg /Hip like the 64 Hasbro Joe?

          This would have to be because use would wear off the paint right?
          Good point. I have several cans of pigment. I can diet .

            Nah; you're dealing with such a small length of wood, and relatively low tensile pressure from the bands so the fracture point is pretty high. I've been using them for a while and haven't had a problem yet. (Famous last words....)
