    T2 arms in a T1 torso advice?

Zod has a smaller chest so I got a T1 chest. I forgot the T2 pelvis wouldnt match. So I made a ball stomach and threaded elastic through it.

Everything was going great then I tried stringing in the arms.

T1 torsos have bigger arm openings than T2 shoulders.

    Anybody dealt with this?

I have some ideas but I thought I'd ask first.

    Thanks !
( and watch those fingers when using Exacto knives !!! Especially if youre by yourself! OUCH! )

I cut a thin strip of electrical tape and wrapped it around the top of the chest, covering the top 1/3 of the arm holes, to keep the arms from falling in. But I'd only do this for characters with bulky clothing; overcoats, jackets, etc.

Use Castaway or Flatt biceps. It will solve your problem without doing any mods to the torso. Not to mention it will look 100% better and have better mobility.

Paco -- Upper Arms - Mego Talk
I have used PACO upper arms with a Type 2 forearm and hand attached. The PACO arm has a plug that fits right in the arm hole. You will need to add a plastic rod for the elastic to hold the legs up as there is no way to attach the arms and legs. Great mobility and I get to use the PACO body stash that I have.
Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.

I like the idea . But Zod has an open shirt.
I was just considering using another brand ( I'd have to dismantle another custom for a castaway bicep. Plus I worry about making Zod look too befy in the shoulders.
I 'm restringing this one like a Type one , easier than those rubber bands, I havent tried Castaway arms with elastic T1 type cord yet . . . .. .

Glad I posted befoe getting started. I was thinking this was my chance to finally try out my first box of Milliput.
I was also considering using metal or rubber washers between the bicep and torso . . . ?

Fill the holes with your milliput, but smooth it out in a concave manner so the arm will fit and move freely. Then carve a hole that's smaller than the original. Abaracadabra!! You have a better torso. (magic sculpt is what I use and it works grrrrrrrreat!!)

I make ljn style swivel biceps that won't slip inside the torso.
