Will spray workable fixative dry on a Mego head?

I finished painting (used acrylics) a beater Green Arrow head that was in very bad shape and would like to seal it. I'm just wondering if a spray workable fixative will dry on a vintage Mego head.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Please let me know and thank you.

    Hmmmm....

Most of it WILL work, but it might not hold up to playing. TGhe squishy head will deform, whereas most paints and sealants don't have the same pliability. If you're just goi9ng to display it, things should be fine.

My thanks to ctc and wrath demon for their advice. I'm just going to be brave and DO IT! Using Krylon satin finish spray.

I feel like that scene in "Scream" where the two guys stab themselves! SPRAY! SPRAY!

Sprayed it, it has dried an hour and it looks great. There is some barely discernible "spotting" on the "skin" part of his face, but the hair looks great.

Since I found this screwed up head, I decided to try to repaint it and then make an Ollie wearing his NEW outfit with the hood. This was the final step and I hope to post some pics of him to the Custom section of ye old Mego Museum soon!
