How many custom projects do you typically have going at the same time?

I'm finding that my list of ideas keeps growing. Each time I get an idea for a project, I also get a flood of ideas for each project. I'm typically a "one thing at a time" sort of person, but I'm tempted to start a couple separate projects.

Is this common? Will this lead to a bunch of half completed projects, with nothing getting finished? Will my wife wonder how all the Megos ended up taking over the house?

I have some that I start and never finish and it backs up...alot!

I've got three active ones right now, and probably three or four rolling around in my noggin.

I tend to start a figure, and if I have to wait for something, whether it's a part to arrive in the mail, a trip to the store for supplies, or just paint drying, I'll work on something else. I also have several non-action figure project started, so they take up time as well. So if you count my unfinished JSA project(that's at least 5 figures right there), reroots I'm doing for other people, my Talky Tina prop, and some things I'm donating to a charity auction, the list gets rather long.

I have dreams of dozens. I have yet to finish any.

I have a couple of small shelves with about 8 figures each that are waiting on one or 2 pieces to finish them or repo stickers. The table has about 8 figures in varying levels of completeness and then another small shelf with about 5 figures in need of costumes pieces. below that another shelf with about 6 nice new brian L suits just waiting for bodies and heads. So...... yes , i have more than one project going and work on another.

In trying to save on shipping, I have tried brainstorm any potential project(s) and order what I think I will need for them in advance. I can say honestly that this method hasn't worked well for me.

^^^ Planning too much for it like that doesn't work well for me, I think it takes out the creativity a bit when its too organized.
