They make all kinds of soft to hard material to cast. I use the hard stuff, but have some of the more rubbery kind.

I to have done resin casting some time ago. Here are a few shots of some of my earlier experiments.
A note to newbies: It may take a little experimenting at first to get the proper resin amount depending on the thickness that you desire. I was a bit conservative on the resin with some of my very first casts shown above. I now have it down to an art.You just need a little patience when experimenting.
If you do not use enough resin your part will turn out too thin and sometimes even incomplete as a result.
If you use too much resin it has a tendancy to weigh the part down.
I always strive for a good equal balance.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
