Removing Fabric Glue?

I just bought the CTVT's black Swat Uniform, and it had Pockets on the Shirt I thought I could just removed the stitching from...turns out they were glued on. I'm pretty sure it's Fabric Glue, and not Crazy-Glue.

Anybody know a save way to remove the Glue?

you try washing it in hot water yet? I've found that the fabric glue I use doesn't hold up to washing very well.

Grab a bottle of pure Acetone. Put a big dab on a cotton ball and repeat to the area that has fabric glue on it. It will eventually dissolve the fabric glue but keep watching it so it don't start eating more then the glue.
I usually do this if I accidentally get fabric glue on an outfit or something. Always worked well with me.

Try some goo gone on a qtip. Dab the area where the glue is...then wash/soak the outfit in woolite. That's how I got glue off of the sleeve of a Clark Kent shirt. Hope that helps.

I don't think you'd need acetone to remove fabric glue, if you're just talking about the white stuff that dries clear. If you soak it in a little warm water, it should turn white again. You can peel a lot of it off, and if there's any residue, you might be able to wash it with soap or detergent.

It's not coming off, so it might be Crazy Glue. But I have some Goo-Gone...so I'll try that next. Thanks Guys & Gals.

It could be something like Fabri-Tac, which dries clear and flexible. On the bottle, it says that it can be thinned with acetone. Don't know how thoroughly it can be removed though.
