Yeah. What Lonnie said. Drop em in, and then let em soak and then dry em out. The acetone will make them harder but will shrink the shoes as it dries out.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Regarding this shrinking in acetone method: Does it only work on the softer ("rubbery") type footwear or does it work on the standard plastic too?

As far as them becoming the correct size for a 6" body, do you need to keep soaking/drying them until they reach the size needed or is one treatment usually enough?

And to reach optimal size, would you place them on the figure? (In short, will they shrink to size if placed on the foot you're trying to make shoes for?)

I tried shrinking the CTVT shoes once and they did nuthin'. Didn't enlarge, didn't shrink. Docs are are a softer/rubbery material so they might do better.

If you do get it to work I would recommend letting them shrink on the feet of the doll. Things shrunk in acetone tend to get rock hard with no flexibility at all.

If all else fails, I used a pair of Docs teen boots and cut the tops of at an angle to get the 'elf' bootie look.

          Better late than never.....

To bad its so late after Christmas. I found little elf shoes at Micheals or Pat Catans. They are blowmold plastic and looked to be flocked in green fuss. They were produced so you could make your own "Elf on a Shelf". If you know what I'm talking about. A little tight but they fit
