    CTVT Custom Heads Suggestions:

I haven't got around to making these myself but I don't want to hold good ideas back from the community. Here are some CTVT heads out there I think can be used for other characters.

Rann Head, Space:1999 - This head is loosely based on the likeness of actor Peter Cushing. While it comes bald, (no rooted hair here), you can sculpt new hair and make a variety of characters. You can make Dr. Frankenstein from Hammer Horror films, as one member did on the boards. Other possible uses:

    Grand Moff Tarkin-Star Wars
    Movie Doctor Who - (1966)
Grey Ghost - Batman The Animated Series
    The Shadow
    Jean Luc Picard -ST-TNG

    Old Man Head-Space:1999

Brian/Palitoy made a great William Hartnell Doctor using this head. See it on his Mego Timelords site! I think it might also make a few other great characters.

    Dr. Sivanna - Shazam!
    Uncle Ben Parker - Spider-Man
Aging Dave Bowman-2001: A Space Odessey, (using space-suits from CTVT as well).

    Mentor-Space:1999

There will be no more Mego-like Flash Gordon figures from Biff Bang Pow! so now it's up to customizers to make them. This head is based on actor Brian Blessed who played Mentor in season 2 of Space:1999 but also played Vultan in the movie Flash Gordon. Paint over the white areas and you can have a Vultan head. Also I suppose you could use it for a Black Adder custom.

    Prince Barin - Flash Gordon

These heads could serve as Prince Barin from the movie Flash Gordon:

My son was looking , well digging through my Trek custom drawer last night and he picked up the gold head dude and told me he wanted one. I never thought about painting him in flesh and adding hair he does look like Tarkin!!

Yeah, because it's the same actor: Peter Cushing.

CTVT's Victor Bergman head might be a good one for Oberon too.

That bottom last large one with the parted brown hair, I changed the hair color to blonde and made him into a custom Steve Rogers. Looks just like him with the paint job.
I may replace my rezin Picard head I have on my Professor X with that bald head. Just add pointy eye brows and he may be a more setting Professor X then the Picard head I got from Dr. Mego along time ago.
More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...

Yep!!! The brows was the first thing I thought needed changed to get a Picard. The old man head looks so Dr. Smith (Lost in Space) to me.

I've used the CTVT Chachi head for Luke Skywalker, just repainted the hair blond and it looks a lot like the old Kenner 12" Luke. Also used the Married With Children Jefferson head for Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica with great results, and the Happy Days Ralph head actually works for Flynn from Tron once you put a helmet on him.

                      Great ideas!

I don't care for the squishiness of CTVT heads, but recasts of them could be really useful.

The challenge with Marvel alter-egos is all the Kirby blond guys (J. Storm, Rogers, Blake, etc.) have that side-part hairstyle lol.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I like all these suggestions, I've been eyeing the Flash head at Drmego's site alot lately and have been daydreaming about making many of the main characters.

I was about to order from CTVT within the next week, now I want to make it larger!

That's a good idea. Could use more wrinkles but right on target.
