Was just at a Goodwill today and picked up a what I thought a pretty near scale and style WGSH style motorcycle, even had a lever with a gun on it to punch people with ( battering ram style,) I thought this would be perfect for spiderman or captain america, its made by fisher price lol, will post a pic later.

I know of the exact same cycle. I have a couple of them and they work excellent for Capt. America. That is what I am using mine for.

I am not exactly sure what these are from. (see pictures) The Fonz gives them two thumbs up so they must not be too bad.

Every time I go out I am ALWAYS on the look out for Mego and Mego like goodies.

"Whatever it is I think I see looks like something Mego to me". Sung to the vintage Tootsie Roll commercial.

Here is a bad bike for my Klingon.

In the back ground you can kind of see one of my Fisher Price bikes that I have.

I think one of the biggest issues there is with the figures and the bikes is getting them to sit properly on the bikes. The original Mego body design was not really designed for this kind of position.

Would that happen to be this one you are referring to?

That's the one, got it on clearance at TRU and will eventually make a ride for Batman. Its pretty good for 9 inch figures.

That looks like it would be a perfect "Redbird" which I believe is the name for Robin's bike. Sadly, if we get it and customize it we'll have to increase the insurance on the Robin figure. Teenagers and motorcycles are a recipe for disaster.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Which exactly is the best scale? 1:6 like Barbie has or 1:9?

I got the 1:9 scale Harley Davidson, but it's a model kit, and I was hoping to get a hold of an actual bike.

The Fatboy that is on sale over on ebay goes for ridiculous prices.

What about BMW or something like that?

Or the Batgirl cycle? (Which is pretty damned ugly, but a repaint can fix that.)

1:9 scale for best for me with regards to motorbike models.
I've utilized the Italeri Vespa 1:9 and it's perfect scale for Megos. Also Protar overseas makes some 1:9 scale motorbikes.

Some of the plastic model kits are getting very pricey. However, if you go to ebay and type motorcycle 1/9 in the search engine you'll find a decent selection of die cast collectable Harley Davidsons.

Nice build on the model!!! Is that machine gun w/ holster able to be removed or is it all molded as one piece.

It's removable. However, I haven't painted it yet so it stays in the holster.

I am slowly digging a bunch of my stuff out of a ton of "Mego" totes that I have bought here and there. I just thought that I would share these as these pictures to give you some ideas.
