Anbody know how to make a crystal ball or where to possibly get one?

What about using a large glass marble? There are tons on ebay for next to nothing.

Also, someone recently created a thread about their Dr. Strange Diorama and they have one in that I think. It was a really cool looking setup.

If you are not worried about size and want it to look really mego-esk you could always use the Oz crystal ball from the emerald city playset just take out the center part which just slides out when you open it up.

Also, check the shampoo and hair products aisle at dollar stores. I found a lid on a shampoo bottle that worked perfectly as a crystal ball.

I used a smoky quartz crystal sphere from China.
I think it was 30mm? and cost about 5 bucks.
but I like the shampoo bottle idea!

When decorations got clearanced this past holiday season, I picked-up a few of these odd little "snow globes" about 1.5" tall. They're clear acrylic, filled with glitter, and mounted to an angular green base. Best of all, the base contains button batteries and a switch so the globe lights-up! Weirdly, the globes are printed on the outside as baseballs, soccer balls, and so on but this can be stripped. I grabbed a few thinking they'd make a great crystal ball!

You can also get large clear beads in various sizes and styles. But I think the marble would be the easiest way to go.
