My take on a SW line-up (heavy on the 1980 Montgomery Ward's vibe), Same deal with X-Men and BSG.
As far as the thread's intent though, I guess it would be a custom that's difficult to make or outside the realm of current materials?

That would be a toss-up between a vinyl Mos Eisley Cantina playset (or batmobile style landspeeder, OR remote control stallion style Dewback), and blow-molded jumbo-machinder style Sentinel.

My obscure characters would be like Guy Davis' Marquis.

Krofft characters (The ones that would translate well to a human form anyhow..)

Star Trek TNG crew (PLEASE!! I just need HEADS..I can get the suits/bodies on my own..)

MONSTERS! I'd LOVE to see an original line from EMCE or a company of their quality level....maybe a "Famous Creatures.." or a "Aliens from Beyond.." type of thing. Maybe like an 'homage' to Tomlands and the like - Beasts of myth, space freakies, demons and ghosts, cryptozoology, etc etc. Like some really COOL (and charming) vintage 70s stuff; slap a generic monster head on a random body and call him 'Zorr: Lord of Jubsabubz - comes with realistic clothing and lazer sword, just like in the movie! Fully poseable!' ...would work for me!
