How to remove emblems from Mattel Retro Action & Hasbro Silver Age Costumes?

As the title says... Any words of wisdom from the many talented customizers around the boards? Thanks in advance!

^^^seriously, do you want to remove them to use on something else or do you want to replace them with your own emblem?

If it is the latter, I would suggest simply putting your new emblem over the old.

Other than the brief movie reference (FACE/OFF) he wants to get the emblem off

Not sure about the Hasbro ones, but the retro ones pretty much peel off...if they are sticking, hit them with a shot of steam to release the glue.
In the case of the Flash, his emblem will steam off/peel off...but his stripes seem to use a different process...I doubt they will come off easy at all!

I'm assuming your doing Flash? I was thinking of that myself..wish you could buy the matty body suits like Flash and Manta use seperately.

I got the Face Off reference . Creepy great flick!
usually I just peel and peel on those kinda emblems, I use up my fingernails and the material seems the worse for wear. Good luck with a tip.

Thank you Captain and TrueDave! Will try the steam technique. I really appreciate your inputs. Ah, and yes, that was a short mention of FACE OFF the movie played by Nicholas Cage and John Travolta...

                      It was obvious.

                      (to deviants)

I think that movie would have worked as a superhero flick, the chemistry was so intense.
I always like to Imagine Travolta and Cage in tights and capes in that one.
                      . . . .Spooning.
