I had a couple of the Esci 1/9 kits as a teenager. I put together the Zundapp motorcycle which came with a German soldier, and still have a 1/9 Kubelwagen (mostly) unbuilt in it's box.
I've been thinking that a custom Red Skull would look cool sitting in the Kubelwagen (a type of militarised Volkswagen, for those not in the know).
Looks like the Kugelwagen has been re-issued by Revell:

Now If I could find a classic Mini Cooper I'd be set. I know there is a 1/8 scale but a 1/9 shell would work for me.

Most things Aurora, as if we Baby Boomer Wanna Bes didnt know.

Polar lights Captain America = THREE different face sculpts! Hulk and Spiderman are in scale. ( If you didnt know Auora used two sizes mostly on thier kits and when the Marvel ones were reissued they were done larger to match the majority of Monster , DC hero kits.)
Character kits that are NOT the 1/9 scale:
Bride, Witch,Hyde, Kong, Godzilla & co. Dr Deadly line,Monsters of the movies. Lone Ranger /Zorro,Tonto, Wonder Woman ? Penguin? Batbike figures,

They did some nice " famous Fighters" but I never had them so I cant say whos in scale and who isnt. some nice faces there and accesseroies.
