Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat

I had started a WiP thread about this before, but now that they're both finished, I figured I'd start a new thread. Alice and the Cheshire Cat were made as gifts, but I'll be making my own soon.
Alice is, obviously, a Dinah Mite with an outfit I made the pattern for. The shoes are off-model, but I couldn't find Mary Janes and these were the best match I could get.
The Cheshire Cat is an all-original sculpt. He's a little bigger than Mego scale, but I didn't want him to be too tiny. I made the head and body as two separate pieces, then cast and attached them. The tail and ears/hair are made of MagicSculp added to the resin parts. There are a few details I wasn't completely happy with, but I still think he turned out pretty well, for my first fully sculpted piece.

Alice looks great, but the Cheshire Cat is truly amazing. Fantastic job on the sculpting, Amy.
This is the second time I'm gonna say this in a short time, but if we ever do make a Customs Catalog again these deserve to be in them.
So Amy, better start working on more characters for that catalog

                Terrific stuff mam!

I was thinking about Alice in Wonderland myself.... I bet that the PVC non-poseable version of Snarf (Thundercats) would be a GREAT base for the Cheshire.

Well, I was thinking about making some other Disney characters. I figured the slightly more detailed, but still cartoony faces would be a good next step up for me to sculpt. The Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, and Tweedle Dee/Tweedle Dum figures, plus a figurine of the White Rabbit are all possibilities for the next batch. Someday, I'd love to make Captain Hook and Smee.

Oh shoot, I just realized that I posted this in Customs Discussion instead of Finished Customs.

LOL! Don't worry about it, we don't mind.

I LOVE that Alice outfit. If you need Mary Janes, PM me and I'll send you the name of the ebay store I get mine from. They're not too expensive, and they're not made of stiff hard plastic.

That Cheshire Cat is a scream! He looks just like the Disney version.

Absolute perfection--Alice is adorable, & the Chesire Cat is so well-sculpted & painted!

I like them very much, would love to see more characters.
