Closing up the paint shop for a bit- Forced sabatical

As of now, I'm not taking any more painted head orders, probably until at least end of February.

Mid December I'm going in for rotator cuff surgery, and of course it's my right shoulder. Since I'm right handed I don't think anyone would want a head I painted with my left hand.

Anyway, they say 8 weeks I'll have limited use of that arm, and as of now, I have enough backlog to keep me busy until then. Work has been kicking my behind, so I'm behind as is, but all orders that have already been placed will get done within the next few weeks, but if I take anymore right now, I don't think I'd get it done by then.

I'll give a shout when things are back to normal. In the meantime, I'll be busy practicing how to whipe my butt left handed.

I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder injury. I hope the surgery goes well and you heal quickly and completely.

Well, you are definately out for the season and sadly even after surgury you're probably going to lose 5-10 mph off your fastball and your splitter won't nearly have the movement it once did.

On the bright side barring any setbacks, you will still have good control and you are a ground ball pitcher so you will most likely be moved from the starting rotation into the bullpen for middle relief.

Not the most glamorous position in baseball but you are making 4.8 Million dollars a year, so I wouldn't complain if I were you.

Dam Dave...sorry to hear You have to have Surgery...it's no fun, I know...I just had it! I always seem to get have a Allergic reaction...to the Drugs that are suppose to make Me feel better...instead I end up feeling worse. I hope You have better luck...take care.
