    Head without a plug?

Hello, probably an easy one for you long timers, but I have an Ursus head with no plug(the part that goes in the body) is there a way for me to make this usable? Thanks in advance

Use a small piece of dowel rod in its place. I learned this trick a long time ago from David Lee. Most of my repro heads and custom heads use a dowel rod the same diameter as the neck hole in a Mego torso. No reason you can't do the same with an original head.

I wrap a broken crayon with tape and stuff it up there. Been working for me for thirty years.

I take a beater head with a good plug and cut the top half of the head off. Jam the plug up inside the Ursus head and stuff the cut up head part into the neck hole.
