    Material tips?

I'm trying to make some Karate uniforms for Mego figures. I was thinking of using broadcloth.
Would this be right or is there something better?

In fact, I can't find what materials to use in any of the patterns or tutorials.
Is there a link I've missed?

I always thought that whatever fabric you used was just personal choice?

        Hmmmm....

Fabric selection is kind of a personal decision.... mostly 'cos there's so many places you can get it. I got a huge collection of old clothes that I use. (Once people found out I make customs they started sending all sorts of weird bits my way....) Rummage around and pick what feels right to you from what you've got would be my suggestion.

Okay, I found my material. It's a poly/cotton "sports twill".
Bias tape works for the belt.
