Are the heads scale to Mego female bodies? The look a little big for the 6 inch scale figures they are on...anyone know if they are Mego scale? Thanks.

The figures are only slightly larger than She-Ra and are not in Mego scale.

I would buy Golden Girls Megos if they had good likenesses.
As for those GG figures from Galoob, like someone else said, they're slightly larger than She Ra.

My wife has all of them, complete and minty. They are a very cool series of barbarian chicks from the early 80s. She has all of the boxes that they came in, as well as a storybook and a puzzle - she's in love with the line.


She even has several of the early 'test shots'. (She told me that they arent prototypes per se, but they have differing suits and weapons - even the figures vary from the regulars)

I'll have a look at one of her spares and see if it fits...

I'd say that it looks pretty darn good - kind of opens up possibilities for never-made female characters - ? In my opinion, the slightly smaller head only makes her look more powerful and/or voluptuous.
There are chicks in this line with blue hair, purple and black hair, Kabuki make-up, Norse-type face-wear, you name it - COOL stuff - I'm glad for the suggestion!

With this head and suit I think that she looks rather like a Green/Black Lantern, no? It's obviously tailored to a MAN, but the suit looks good as well I think..
(Sorry, I havent got the hang of the flash thing, there are 50 buttons on this camera!! I can take other shots with a combination of heads and suits for those that care to see..)
