When I started "recollecting" megos I did it for the nostalgia feeling. It was starting to get old until my daughter started to get into the characters and started making demands who she wanted.
Now, almost six years later at the age of 8 1/2 she has a mego and custom mego super hero collection bigger then the average joe on here.
My daughter wanted me to show off her huge collection on here. How could I say no. She loves coming to this section and checking out what people have made. If she likes it, I usually get pested into making her a version of what she likes.
I will post her new shelves we had to put together because they were getting crowded. Watch out, there are a lot of pictures to load.
Oh yeah, big thanks to "The Doc" for his time, effort and for being so carrying in helping out a little girl who just wanted a few customs to play with.

Full view.

Top shelf, The X-men. This is her recent addition. We are currently working on X-men. So, we put them on top. We use the Star Trek bridge as kind of a command-danger room playset. Hope we don't offend trekkies on here.

Shelf 2: This is where the miscellaneous DC heroes wind up.

Shelf 3: Usually anyone from Earth 2 or a member of the JSA past or present winds up here. I was reading this kid All Star Squadron as bedtime stories when she was just a little thing. Yeah, call me a bad parent but she enjoyed it and has a fondness to characters from these books to this day. Her favorite book is the current JSA.

Shelf 4: This is where the miscellaneous DC bad guys wind up. Every custom you see here, was her idea not mine.

Shelf 5: The bottom shelf. She puts her Justice League members in here with her adaptation of the JLA command satellite made from the old Hall of Justice Play set.

We had to start a new shelf on the other side of the room for her Marvel characters. God forbid, if we mix the Marvels with the DC.
These are her favorite Marvel baddies.

Of course, can't you tell what her favorite movie is right now?

Miscellaneous marvel heroes

I love this Thor. We tried for years to get a Thor until "The Doc" came up with an idea to make her this Thor with the hair. He is one cool dude.

She loves Spidey. I invented this swinging web thing from a rotary cable that came with a uniform I used to wear when I worked in a government security building years ago and this thing was connected to my badge. The cable actually retracts and worked out fine when we connected it to Spidey and revamped it so he can swing around on it. It took some thought but the swinging Spidey is awesome!!

One of her favorite villians is Darkseid. I went and found this oversized DC Direct Darkseid and cropped him up to fit the mego line. She uses him a lot to battle the heroes and villians. She fell in love with the villan after watching him on the adventures of Superman cartoon. She can't get enough of this baddie. I am afraid I am eventually going to have to make a whole bunch of those Kirby heroes and villians from the new gods. She has been pestering me for months for Granny Goodness. Strange kid but she thinks a lot like me.
This old Barbie townhouse is now a villian's hideout.
