Just picked up Galaxy Quest at Walmart for 5 bucks...Has anyone ever done a Galaxy Quest custom...with all Mego did with Star Trek I think this would be a natural! I think it is a great movie, with alot of custom potential ! Just wondering....

That is one of my all-time favorite movies, just so much fun.

I never considered a custom from that film, but that is a cool idea.

Back when I was more active in the toy industry, Resausus had the license to make 12" figures. I found these pics over at RTM, but there were painted pics somewhere too. I think the Plan B gang still have the prototype (if they are still around that is??)

Back when I was more active in the toy industry, Resausus had the license to make 12" figures. I found these pics over at RTM, but there were painted pics somewhere too. I think the Plan B gang still have the prototype (if they are still around that is??)

It would be GREAT if Cast a Way or Doc would get the license to do an 8" Line!!! I can just imagine the packaging!!! 5 crew, playset, and at least 3 Thermians. Of course I'm not sure how popular the movie was with the general public....but us Sci Fi geeks would love it!! or if someone could sculpt the heads and sell the cast that would be cool too!

Kudos to the push up bra,but let's not forget the lucky make-up artist that gets to shade in that cleavage for the cameras!

Her being a blonde also helped separate her from the more tough as nails Ripley we've come to know and love.

I think she's absolutely hilarious in comedic roles like Working Girl and Heartbreakers. She's got a real flair that shone through in Galaxy Quest.

It has a real cult following, I hope they do another. (Although as we've learned from Ghostbusters, Toy immortality probably comes from having an animated series)

I know this is a total longshot but did they give the prototypes away to anyone and would anyone let us shrink them to MEGO scale?
