Repairing tabs?

I have the Fortress, and while it's usable/displayable overall, a lot of the tabs on it are in bad shape... Some are so bad that it's hard to fit them thru the slots...

Any suggestions for a good fix on them?

are the tabs seprating and making it diffcuts to pass themthrew the slots ?
maybe stick stiff wire in betwwen the septrations for strength and than paint white glue in between the pieces and with a C-clamp and 2 small blocks of wood cover in teflon(I have) squeeze the tabs together?

Yes, that's what's wrong with them...

Your suggestion sounds like it'll work, I'll probably give it a try...
