Poet/Pirate shirts?

How can I adapt one of the patterns at the Custom section to make a poet/pirate shirt?

I just got a figure of The Dread Pirate Roberts, from The Princess Bride, and while it is semi-sort of cute, there are problems with it.

1. No, and I mean NO, articulation. AT ALL.

2. Very poor likeness of Cary Elwes.

3. The whole thing is molded plastic.

If I wanted to do a DPR, what head should I use? Maybe a Zorro with blond hair?

How to achieve the billowy sleeves on the shirt?

Any help?

I usually make the sleeves really big; like bellbottom pants, and sew a bit of elastic into the cuff. You gotta use thin, light material though.

Thats what I did for my GA Green Lantern. Just oversized the shirt pattern at the width of the shirt, and the width of the sleeves, then brought them together at the cuffs and the waist.

-i also need some pirate shirt for a project. The best option would be a mego-scale version of the Mattel Big-Jim Captain Hook shirt:

If somebody on the list would be willing to work on these, I could send a Hook Big jim shirt as sample for the pattern. The new ones would have to be 20-25% downcsaled to fit a Mego figure.
