Three Farmhands: Wizard of Oz

In my quest to make all the Kansas cast from the Wizard of Oz, I just finished the three farmhands (Hunk, Hickory and Zeke). I used mostly CTVT heads and body parts along with some Walton's clothing. I just reworked some of the paint on the heads to give a more accurate look. All in all, very simple customs.

Very nice. I was expecting heavily reworked Mego Oz heads, but these are decent likenesses.

I've always wondered when someone would get around to doing the WOZ Alter Egos. Nice work, you really nailed the look and feel of them.

I always look forward to seeing your Oz customs Mike. They look like the characters and blend in perfectly with the original Mego Oz figures.
I'm guessing you used a CTVT Howard Cunningham for Burt Lahr and Knights for Jack Haley and Ray Bolger?

Yes, I used a Mr. C. for the head of Burt Lahr. For Ray Bulger, I used a Long John Silver head and for Jack Haley I used a Sir Lancelot head. I altered the eyebrows on all of them and removed the earing and sideburns on Long John's head. I'm not completely satisfied with the Sir Lancelot head's likeness to Haley, but it was the best I could think of.

Thanks for the nice comments. I've got a Miss Gulch in the works and I'm planning to make a Professor Marvel. After that, I'm finished with the Kansas characters. I'll probably start on some Star Trek customs next.
