Well, how about a desk? There are plenty of JJ and Perry editor customs that could use a "prop" like a desk. Even a Commisioner Gordon could use one. Just a thought.

Something like a desk could be used, maybe even modified for many purposes... amen to that!

I know McCoy had a desk even if the Internet doesn't seem to think so! And I know there were 1 or 2 Commodores on Starbases that met with Kirk at their desks.

Looks to me like one edge is straight, the other is a bit like a roof and the computer at the end is on a little extension of its own. I'm guessing there are 6 sides to this beastie.

Actually it is a five sided table.

3 people fit along the straight edge.Two people at one wedge or angled spot and one on the other angled edge.One each end.

For a total of eight people.

That would be 5 places to sit, but I think if you count the edges there must be 7, the computer "island" will have 2 more edges that aren't mentioned.

The long flat side = 1
The end opposite the computer = 2
The roof/angle = 4
The what would be the end without the computer = 5
The place the computer operator faces the computer = 6
The left of the computer = 7
The back of the computer is the long flat side again.

That is what I meant.

I was also counting them up sort of for Paul's benefit for later to be sure we thought the table had the same shape. I am going to have to have him make one of these I'm sure.

I'll have to go watch an episode, which I may have to rent... but I guess it has to have 8 chairs. I'll probably have to order 8 chairs to go with it. I'm not sure how many I got last time. 5 I think since there is still a discount for 5. If that is true, I guess I have 3 I can use from the previous order so 5 more will let me populate the Bridge and the Briefing Room simultaneously.

I guess I'll need more later if I get an Engineering Room and Sickbay with McCoy's desk created. But that is later. Sorry to count up my collection online instead of in my head. But now I'm starting to use these posts as my own notes. Sorry to muck up the board.

But I originally started this topic with Paul because I was looking for a picture to confirm it was Blue. It is apparently Pink.

But yes, the Tech Manual may be screen accurate. I believe it has some issues but I'm not sure this is one of them. I know I have a Tech Manual somewhere. I think I'm unpacked now... I'll look later. Thanks for the reminder but it was the color that got me started looking for a good pic.

How would you or could you address the "Tri Screen" and "Spock's Computer?"

I initially didn't expect them to be part of the deal but I may as well ask. You can probably come up with something that I could slide images into so I'll bring it up now.
