Well, here is my second custom, and my first attempt at sculpting. The 1st pic is a work in progress, with a few other projects hanging around...

2nd pic is 007 finished...

I sculpted the head out of Sculpy, painted it with acrylics and used a CTVT Ricky Ricardo for the body and tux. The gun is from a LJN SWAT figure, but will be replaced with something closer to Bonds gun soon.

The head sculpt is pretty rough around the edges, but I am happy with it for a first try, hope to improve next time I try it.

You just jumped into the deep end of the pool! Most start with mods of exisiting heads before they give the full thing a go.

Check out James Brady's sculpting tutorial at CustoMego, might be some information there to help you along your journey.

I myself couldn't even sculpt the head in the proper shape.

Thats not to bad for a first try. Just keep practicing and you will get better overtime. And asking the fine folks on this forum for advice doesn't hurt either. Just gotta ask what is that vehicle, looks cool as hell!

Thanks guys. The sculpting will hopefully improve, if I can find time to try some more. The vehicle is an Action Man car I picked up for $4 at a Savers store. I intend to clean it up and paint it, the size and style make a decent Mego sized Bond car, and the hood pops open to reveal machine guns and rocket launchers
