I bought a couple carded happy day figures to part out the clothes and figured I could reuse the bubbles for a custom of mine but some paper tore off on the bubble. What have you used to clean off that paper?
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm curious on this as I've built up a mini-collection of RA bubbles.
Is there a good way to clean paper off them so they can be nice clean bubble to use for a custom project?
My experience with the RA bubbles has show me that the adhesive used was the strongest aspect of the whole line. Seriously, I had to scrub with soap and water, soak, scrub again, soak again, scrub with an SOS pad, and then soak again and scrub again before I finally got them clean and clear. I used a little bit of acetone at the beginning of the process but honestly it didn't seem to have that much of an impact on the process as you might think.
