    child bodies

So CTVT has two child bodies: one for Bud Bundy and one for Cindy Brady. Anatomically, is there any difference between them, other than height? Is there anything particular male or female about them? Is the neck plug the same size as for the 8", or smaller?

Actually, is CTVT my best bet for a body in that kid size? Lions Rock / Teen Titans would be too tall... I don't know much about the Our Gang bodies. I'd even be willing to use something outside of the "Mego family" if it was in "kid scale" and could work for a custom.

Does it have to be in the Mego family? You could always get a few of those little Kelly dolls(Barbie's youngest sister) that might be about the right size. I think I have a few - if I can dig one out, I'll try and get a comparison pic. What age child are you going for?
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

    Check out my customs!

Well, for a while now, I have been thinking of doing customs based on the George R R Martin "Song of Ice and Fire" books... which are in the process of being adapted into an HBO series called "Game of Thrones". Peter Dinklage plays a dwarf (as in, short person... not in a Tolkein-esque sense of the word) named Tyrion. HBO just started releasing some teaser footage... and it got me motivated to get started.

In the books, I think Tyrion is supposed to be about 4 ft. tall, although I think Dinklage is actually a touch taller than that (IMDB lists him as 4'5"). But due to the dwarfism, the head should be a bit on the bigger side, and the body a bit on the stubby side.

I'm really open to any body that will work... as long as it looks right and has reasonable articulation.

Old He-Man bodies make acceptable-if unarticulated-dwarves. You could use any of the child bodies, with a bit of padding to fill them out.

I really enjoyed that series, and have been waiting so long for the next book to come out. Thanks for reminding me...I will have to see if he has finally released it. That's exciting news about it being made into a series, let's hope they do the books justice. You gotta love Tyrion

I think the CTVT child body would work for your project...
