Any source for men's 70's attire?

    Hello.
Anyone know a source that sells or makes men's 70's attire (for 8" figures)? I know many of the Mego figs from that time period can provide basic clothes, but I'm talking plaid suit jackets and pants, bell bottoms, shirts with wide collars, etc. Basically, a Plaid Stallions Men's Wearhouse.

    Regards,
    Mark

Dr Mego's suit pants have bell bottoms ( as does the AJ Sailor outfit ), CTVT's Happy Days Ralph has a shirt like what you're after.

I've not come across any plaid suits ( i could use one myself ) and am guessing you'd have to get one custom made.

There are some MOD outfits for the sports guy made back in 1970. was it Joe Namath? I dunno.

Is the new Mattel Retro Two face dressed in a plaid suit . .oh never mind HALF a plaid suit.

Any Playmates Kirk and Spock outfits? Piece of the Action, City on the Edge ???

Lone Ranger etc has some nice pieces that could be combined to be funky.

The Mr Kotter Jacket fits nicely on the Mego figur ans most of the Sunshine fmily wardrobe too. Skipper outfits work okay, as do Bratz Boys clothes. CTVT Happy Days and Brady figures are good sources as well. If there is a specific plaid jacket you wqnted to recreate, thraft setion at walmart has a cotton cloth affixed to paper you cn run thru the printer. Print the jacket out and stitch it up.

Ken had some pretty funky clothing in the 70's. I think you could probably slightly alter a few of his suits and they might fit some Megos. Would require a little knowledge fo a thread and needle, but probably not much.
