Need help with a hawkeye quiver

Can anyone recommend either a quiver from a figure or how to make a quiver for a mego scale hawkeye?

For the Megoesque look I would use a repro Speedy quiver from Dr Mego

For a more authentic quiver use the Famous Covers one. Or even Marel Legends might work

I've often thought about how to do my own quiver. My plan was to use a small prescripiton bottle and wrap a couple of layers of spandex around it nad them do some trim. I never tried this so it might be a horrible idea.

I think you're on to something. What about a clay roller or something a bit thinner?

My plan was a small plastic tube that sequins or beads come in. You can find them at Michels.
Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.

I had to google photo images of quivers...seeing what they are, I would cut down a brass tube and hammer one end shut. Probably use leather strips and glue them down so you can tie it to your figure. What do you think of that idea?

That sounds great. There are a few good ideas. What if I combined the idea of a cigar holder with your leather idea? in fact maybe cast the part in resin?

You could get this look with a brass tube covered in leather--or just sculpt it and bake it...It looks like a simple thing to sculpt.

Or you could get this look with just a plain brass tube, again covered in leather. Just depends on the look you're going for.

dumb question but where do you get the brass tube and how would I attach the tack? Sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the visuals

You could get brass tubing at a hardware store. If you look like a helpless little girl, the nice guy behind the counter will even cut it for you, so you won't need to invest in a tube cutter.

I would hammer one end of the brass tube shut, then cover it all up with the thinnest leather I could find (with the appropriate type of glue)...I would cut slashes on the leather first, to thread the tack through, and then glue it all down.
