    Dr. McCoy shirt custom







    Hi all. I've been a member here for a few years, but because of other obligations, I haven't had time to do any custom work. I finally had a little time to finish this project. This is my shot at Dr. McCoy's short-sleeve shirt that he wears in sick bay. I basically made the shirt and added a Fonzie shirt under it (dyed black and sewed in). I thought it looked okay, so I took some pics of McCoy with Kirk wearing a belly shirt by Dave. By the way, some of you might remember me as smonte01, but for some reason my account isn't working anymore, so enter smonte00. I've got a couple of other Star Trek customs coming, but they're not done just yet.

          Nice job. The material you picked for Bone's shirt is right on. I had to look twice at the second pic. I thought you had built an Enterprise backdrop. Good Photoshop work.

              Oh wow! That's really cool! Seems logical that if the Captain has his green shirt, then Bones should have his other shirt, too. And that Enterprise backdrop fooled me too!

                                          Great job!!!I've been working on a shirt like this for awhile now as well.The material is such a pain in the *****!!!I commend you on completing this.

                                                  Thanks everyone. The fabric is EXTREMELY challenging. I had to cut the pieces slightly larger because I ended up having to trim off the edges constantly due to the fraying. That being said, I've wanted one of those since I saw Dave Mc's a long time ago. I'm just glad it's finished and I'm still relatively sane - sort of.
