    wetsuit hood?

I am looking for a wetsuit hood (like the 40th anniversary GI JOE frogman) where the piece is skin tight on the head

Project ARE does sell this but they seem to be on hiatus until who knows when.

Ebay literally yields nothing for frogman/diver/wetsuit/scuba

Does anyone know of any place where I might be able to find the hood only, preferably in black?

Maybe the tip of a small black ballon cut to fit?

My suggestion: Get some of that wetsuit material, (what's it called, neoprene?) Trace your action figure's head onto it, (a little bigger than the actual head), cut 2 pieces like that, sew them together, and turn it inside out.

thank you for the replies, but in my case it would work much better (and look nicer) if I could find one that was already made

Here is an auction for a GI JOE Navy Frogman. 'Buy It Now' price is $14.95 plus $7.50 shipping.

Not too bad on cost and you could always keep the suit and resell the rest to recoup some money...just a thought.

Of course this might not work if you are looking for smaller scale.
            Good Luck on your hunt!

There is a spray on that makes handles for tools. & I think something you can dip end of tools in for better grip and insulation. This might work for you.

Thanks again for the info. I ended up finding an entire project ARE wetsuit at goodthingstogo.net. Once again the timing was off because that ebay frogman would have come out to roughly the same price I just paid for the whole suit--ahh well that is always how it goes

It can be very frustrating at times especially when you need one small piece of whatever and have to end up buying an entire figure or spend some outlandish sum of money to get the one small piece that would normally sell for like 5$ alone
