I imagine it would have to be comparably priced to a new figure on the shelves, or it would only get a few buyers.

A small run of 8" customs happened a several years ago as I recall, and I regret not buying them to this day. Would love to have a chance again, ideally under $50 per figure. Under $30 would be a no-brainer, and for under $20 I'd buy multiples.

I used to sell mine with a card and a blaster for $100 to $125 each. They weren't pulls from the Mego sculpt though, they were original sculpts.

Were they the 8" or 9" figures?

I did 9"ers for the TV series and an 8" Michael York. Wow, that was 8 years ago...

I think it would hurt the value and the "specialness" of the few existing prototypes.
