    Tinkerbelle knock-offs at Dollar Tree

Saw them tonight and figure most here would be able to find a use for either the heads or bodies. Sadly, the bodies are only jointed at the shoulders and hips. They stand at 7 1/2" tall.

Are these the female figures with the different colored hair? I think I already have those unless this is something newer.

FYI - Here is another possible use for a head that comes from the same store. I bought up a bunch of these as well. I am pretty sure I also have some of those that you mentioned above.

Either it is because I am up waaay too early this AM or my eyes are blurry from something else. I see my pictures lately look to be a bit fuzzy and rather crappy. I think my gf has been messing with my camera settings again. I bought her a like camera of her own to use to avoid this issue. Maybe she "borrowed" mine without my knowledge.

Anyway it is way too early for me to be up taking pictures and talking about Tinkerbell figures. I am going back to bed.

I will deal with the camera issue later. Not really high on my priority list right now.

          Night all!

^They also have something similar to that. The tail is a lot bigger than that and is one big part. Sorry,no pics of the fairies. Didn't buy any. I should go back and get some.

I have a couple of Disney Princess dolls that I found in Thrift stores that I am planning on using as Teen Titans size customs. I've got Pocohontas and Cinderella. Is Tinkerbell similar to these? I don't know what line they are from.

Are the ones you have similar to the ones used for these customs? http://www.toyotter.com/actiongirl/custom/sally.html
I've always wondered how these would work as Titans.

I think those might be them Del. I'll have to dig them out and compare to be sure.

Thanks so much for the info!

I bought 2 of the boxed dollar tree mermaids from this thread, but the heads are way bigger than mego 8 inch femaile heads and look a lil stupid...IMO. Guess they'll go in an ebay parts lot sale eventually.

Here's the Disney Princess next to a regular sized figure.

They are the same size more or less as Wonder Girl. The heads are too small for 8", but fine for Titans sized characters.

Are the Disney Princess dolls officially licensed or dollar knockoffs? I can't say I've ever seen any of them anywhere.

They look even smaller than wonder girl are you sure they're about the same size?

I think the Disney Princesses are legit according to the website Del posted. They have Disney copyright notices on them, but I bought them naked at a thrift store so I can't verify for sure if they are official Disney product first hand.

It's been a while since I stood them side by side with Wonder Girl, but I do believe they are just about the same height, although the proportions might be off... smaller head/skinnier body on the Disney princesses. Close enough for my purposes though. Wonder Girl bodies are too valuable and I don't think anyone's reprod a teen girl body yet.
